I hope you are all enjoying the weekend.
We had a really great time with friends last week. They came to visit my darling man for his birthday. From the minute they arrived to the time they left we laughed. I think we saw more of the Island in a few days than in the whole of last year. So much fun.
Today’s card was made using one of the new stamps from Crafty Individuals. They are now on the CI website if anyone wants to check them out. I am giving them a big shout because they are at the introductory offer price at the moment. If you do go and have a look at the stamps, do check out the pretty papers as well. The photo on the web doesn’t really do them justice. The papers would be fabulous for making gifts and cards with for Christmas. I did cover a book with part of one of the papers which can be seen here.
Right, back to today’s card
Really easy card to make. Lots of layers.
I stamped the Baroque Splatter Script background using Archival Ink onto coated card stock. I stamped the owls onto coated card stock using black Stazon, coloured them and cut them out. I then made the card up as seen using foam pads to attach the owls and give them a 3D effect. Sorry the photo doesn’t show it up very well.
Thank you for looking.
Have a great Sunday everyone.
