Butterfly tag

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all ok and have something fabulous planned for the weekend. Thank you everyone for your comments on my butterfly box in the other place.

Another quick post from me to share a tag I made recently for Crafty Individuals.  I have been enjoying making tags rather than cards recently.   I made a similar tag HERE just in different colours.

I used Crafty Individuals Stamp Fly and Be Free CI 517.  This was my favourite stamp out of the new releases. It is probably in my top ten favs of all time, which has turned into a top 20 but you know what I mean. Really love it.  I used the same stamp and stamped it twice. To join the two images up I used CI Inky Script Background CI 436.

I used distress inks for the background and water colour crayons for the detail.

Thank you for looking.

Take care,

Flo x

Isn’t it funny how we tend to favor to create certain things for a while then gravitate to another…cards, then tags. I like tags, too, because you can hang them anywhere, and they’re simply a different way of expressing than a card.
Your butterfly tag is very sweet, Flo. I do like the stamped wording…”Spread your wings and fly – be free”…very encouraging messages and the background colors you used are so soft, then the subtle vibrancy of the orange butterfly adds just the perfect balance. Keep creating, my friend. Your creations are not just pretty to look at, but spark just that spot-on message for someone who needs it that day.

    Blessings on you, Flo,

Absolutely gorgeous Flo. I really like the subtle colours in the background which allow that wonderful butterfly to stand out. Amazing artwork as always. Crafty hugs, Sandra x
