Hi everyone,
I hope you are having a wonderfully creative week. As I am typing this, I’ve just heard the rattling of the bin being dragged down the drive so that must make today Tuesday! It would be nice to occasionally know what day it is. I’ve had a busy couple of weeks putting plans in place and organising some of my “List”. It’s all been great fun and positive. Today I have spent the afternoon making some cards. It’s my Mum and Dad’s birthdays coming up and Mother’s Day as well. Neither of my parents are in very good health so I thought I would make their cards this year. I’m not sure the cards I made today are good enough so I might make some more tomorrow afternoon but it was still fun.
Anway, I see that Crafty Individuals have the new Ellie Mulligan stamps on their website so I tonight thought I would share a couple of cards I made recently using those. They are along the same lines but different colours.

The same card but in green

Stamps used Happy Elephants CI 562 You can see all of Ellie’s designs here.
I stamped the elephants onto coated cardstock and then coloured the stamp pieces with Distress inks using a gelli plate. I then added extra colour to the detail on the images with the same coloured diluted Distress Inks and a paint brush. I sprayed the pieces with a fixative and then added some white dots using a nib and which acrylic ink.
Thank you for looking.
Take care,
Flo x
Lovely cards Flo. My elephant and giraffe stamps are on the way, looking forward to using them. As you can probably tell I have now learned how to use Word press so I can see and comment on your posts! x
Hi Jeanette, Thank you! You will love the elephant and giraffe. Now you have sorted out wordpress are you going to start a blog or have you already started a blog? Now, you did mention in the CI facebook group about mixed media. How is that going? Take care, Hugs Flo xx
Both look great, but, with the sun outside the first is my favorite! Hugs, Gerrina
