Where did the sun go – new stamps from crafty Individuals

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well. Thank you so much everyone for your visits and the lovely comments left on my recent posts. You are so kind. It has been a bit busy and I will explain in my next post.

Today I would like to share some more projects made for Crafty Individuals using another of the new stamps “Where Did The Sun Go” designed by Sharron Bates. I call these flueballs and I did think at first they were snowmen but they are in fact seaguls! They are such fun!!!! It just goes to show what a fabulous imagination and how talented Sharron is. I think what I love the most about all of the new stamp designs is that they are so unique from anything else and you can really use them in so many different ways. I will be revisiting these stamps over the next couple of months when I have more time.

The stamps where launched on the 2nd April on The Craft Store but they will be appearing on the CI website very soon.

For the card above I stamped the background using one of the circle stamps from CI Abstraction set CI 539. I stamped the seagulls and cut out just their bodies. I painted the legs onto the stamped card and added the bodies with foam tape. I used the “friends” stamp from CI Everyday Curly Words set CI464.

I stamped the image using staz-on onto coated card stock and coloured the image with ink and paint brush. With this card and the colour combo, I was thinking quick Christmas Card.

I used some CI pretty papers for the background and stamped the floral border using CI Floral Spray stamp CI 466. Again I stamped the bodies of the seagulls and cut them out. I painted the legs and then attached the body using foam tabs.

For the last project, I recycled some packing board, made a frame, painted it and stamped onto it using paint. I stamped the seaguls onto coated card stock and coloured them with ink.

Thank you for looking.

Take care, hugs,

Flo x
